Waterstrider – White Light

Californian 5-piece Waterstrider are releasing their debut album Nowhere Now later this year and White Light is the first sampler of it.

You might remember them from their spectacular cover of Little Dragon and debut single Redwood last year. Since then, they’ve laid down roots somewhere in between shoe-gaze and indie-bluesy-rock with a branch of something un-namable which is what makes White Light so damn good.

Frontman Nate Salman says that the track explores the notion of celebrity and the sooner we realise we’re no different from the people we idolise, the sooner we can realise our power as individuals.  An empowering track to kick of the year.

We’ll be eagerly awaiting the release Calliope on Jan 29 as part of a AA single release.
