Martin Ikin – Rhythm

Practically dripping with rays of sunlight, Martin Ikin’s winding sultry house beats tease the imagination, flattening any trace of practicality, replacing it with vivid images of dancing next to glistening pools in Spain.

Rhythm is like a musical metaphor for a penny drop. And with that bouncing tinkle comes the blissful realisation that its about to be summer, at least, on the other side of the world. For me, that penny drop means throwing some money at the cold and running into the sunnier horizons of Europe.

No stranger to the music world, Martin Ikin has been producing for 12 years under a multitude of different monikers including; Soul Purpose, Indigo, Migrant & Mayhem and developing his own record label Soul Purpose Records in 2003.

Rhythm is has been released on Andre Crom’s label OFF Recordings and benchmarks the first time Martin Ikin has produced under his real name.
