Charles Murdoch – Dekire feat. Oscar Key Sung

Intoxicating and enchanting, Dekire is like feeling in the dark, led only by emotion and desire as a mistress. A true sonic beauty, the track is simultaneously jagged and liquid, wavering between harrowing vocals and tightly wound synths that not surprisingly weave themselves around your heart as you listen.

The vocals are borrowed from Melbourne’s Oscar Key Sung and splinter through Murdoch’s signature clement, minimal electronica. Dekire is one of the featured tracks of Charles Murdoch’s soon to be released EP, Weathered Straight, under the Future Classic label and adds to his repertoire of rapidly building credibility as one of Australia’s promising young producers.

In a perfectly aligned match Murdoch has been added to the list of artists performing at the Red Bull Academy stage this year at  the world renown Splendour in the Grass festival. Red Bull Music Acadmemy is  well recognized for its reputation in supporting the growth and evolution of talented young producers across a range of genres.  Their vision in encouraging Australia to embrace an expanding landscape of music is reiterated with their support of boldly innovative artists like Murdoch. Make sure you check out the sweet lineup at the Red Bull stage at Splendour this year.
