Alicia Catling – “Mighty Fine”

Young & fresh, the early offerings from pop-folk starlet  Alicia Catling is something to watch out for.  Having uploaded 7 songs in a quick space of time (just 2 months) its clear the 16 year old has a knack for song writing.  Mighty Fine is perhaps the most accomplished yet, and better still, it’s a free download.   We also love the story telling in track 168 Hours, where Catling goes through the emotions, from innocent to dark, waiting for a re-connection from a first kiss from a friend.   Did they lose their friendship? The honesty really takes you there.  File next to any Kate Bush meets Marika Hackman style of artist, if there is any?
